Co-founding partner of STILOGO, Francisco holds a degree in Spanish Philology and is our coordinator and project leader. After several years teaching Latin, he became Head of the Spanish Department at Lexis, Instituto del Idioma. Over a period of twelve years, he managed and trained the Spanish as a foreign language teaching team, selected and wrote teaching material, and gave classes. He is the author of a complete Spanish course and of a teacher-training manual for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language. In 2004, he was a speaker at the II Jornadas de Formación de E/LE (2nd Training Workshops for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language) organised by Anaya, Espasa, SGEL, Edelsa, SM, Edinumen, Ediele and the Instituto Cervantes. As an editor and proofreader he has collaborated with the universities of Málaga and Seville, and he was lead proofreader for the proceedings of the IX Latin American Conference Ibercom 2006: El espacio iberoamericano de comunicación en la era digital. Other proofreading and editing projects he has worked on include technical articles, novels, scripts and plays. Francisco regularly contributes articles to provincial newspapers (of the Correo and Vocento groups). He manages projects and quality and is a consultant, proofreader and professional writer.

Co-founding partner of STILOGO, Linda holds a degree in Modern Languages with Political Science and is a bilingual Spanish-English translator. She is also a TEFL teacher, has written material for advanced level English courses, and has extensive experience in preparing students for internationally recognised English language examinations (the Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency Certificates, and TOEFL). In the field of business English for foreigners, she acts as a consultant for the preparation of presentations and speeches, and has developed recruitment and skills assessment English tests. Linda has worked as a translator since 1990 and has participated in projects for European institutions, universities and the PTA (Technology Park of Andalusia). She was a member of the team that translated the book Expo Movement, Universal Exhibitions and Spain’s Contribution (Metáfora) for Expo Zaragoza 2008. She has translated and corrected technical articles (on subjects as varied as computing, mathematics, philosophy, linguistics and medicine) for subsequent publication in international specialist reviews. She regularly translates for the Spanish Oxfam Fundación Intermón Oxfam.
MARÍA SOCORRO APARICIO CARRILLO - sapariciostilogo.com
Co-founding partner of STILOGO, Socorro holds a degree in Spanish Philology, with specialisation in Spanish lexicography and palaeography. She has participated in the research, analysis and preparation of materials for writing and publication of numerous lexicographic works of reference that include the Tesoro Léxico de las Hablas Andaluzas and the NTLE - Nuevo Tesoro Lexicográfico del Español (XIV-1726), which she worked on full-time for ten years. She has collaborated with the Instituto de la Lengua Española, which depends on the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the University of Málaga. As a copy editor, she has worked for the publisher Arco Libros and the University of Seville. Her participation in preparing the NTLE involved extensive reading and transcription of the original manuscripts that were to be included in that reference work. Socorro acts as a consultant and transcribes texts for specialist antiquarian booksellers and several reviews.{addthis off}
